Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ‘b’ Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘b’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – We continued with a snake theme this week! We’ve also taken a look at Road safety and have been on a Road safety awareness walk where we’ve been observing the signs! Please encourage your child to practice using their knowledge! We’ve been busy planting onions, bulbs and cress seeds too!
Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we will venture out on another Road safety walk to ensure most children attending the Playhouse have the opportunity to take part on this key activity. We will look at foxes and hibernation and bird migration. We will also make some bird feeders for our garden and we will also fit in some cooking!
Sainsbury’s Vouchers – If you, friends and family chop at Sainsbury’s, please can you collect the Active Kids vouchers. They provide us with some really valuable resources, so the more we have the more resources we can provide for your children. Thank you.
Family Bingo – Please see Alexa for tickets, details were sent out last week and there are just a few ticket remaining.
Easter Fayre – Saturday 1st April at John Clare School, please see the attached flyer for further details, we are hoping to use the funds from the Easter Fayre to purchase warm all in one outfits for the Playhouse (pre-schoolers) and a new x-box game and DVD’s for the OOSC! We are also holding an Easter Egg competition, letters will be sent home next week so keep a look out! Please keep this date free, it’s going to be egg-citing!!
