What a fantastic Summer Term we’ve had at OOSC! The children have had lots of fun, enjoyed spending time with their friends, and made the most of the lovely warm weather.
Keeping Cool – With the sunshine making plenty of appearances, the children loved cooling off with water play and enjoying delicious ice pops! It was the perfect way to stay refreshed while having lots of outdoor fun.
Cookery Club – Our Cookery Club has been a huge success this term! The children have enjoyed making a variety of tasty treats, including: Milkshakes, Fruit Cones, Pizza, Pinwheels, Fresh Fruit Salad, Banana Splits, Fruit Pizzas
Everything looked absolutely delicious and was perfect for the summer weather!
Science Fun – We’ve had lots of exciting scientific adventures this term!
One of the children’s favourite experiments was creating an erupting volcano using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Watching the volcano fizz and bubble was great fun!
The children also enjoyed making their own chatterboxes and testing them out on their friends, as well as creating their own squishies by experimenting with different materials to fill their balloons. It’s always wonderful to see their creativity and curiosity shine!
Arts & Crafts – Our creative children have been very busy this term! They have enjoyed making: Beautiful flowers using pipe cleaners and wool, Colourful suncatchers, Decorated milk bottles, Paper fans, Giant tissue paper flowers and decorations to help make our End of Year Parties look extra special!
Their artwork has brightened up the club and everyone has been so proud of what they’ve created.
