Dear Parents and Carers
We’ve had another lovely week full of learning and fun!
This week we have been:
Baking bread and learning how to knead dough, while discovering where flour comes from.
Reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar and getting creative by making our own caterpillars and butterflies.
Transferring our sunflowers into bigger pots and helping to water the garden, learning all about how plants grow and what they need to thrive.
Looking ahead to next week…
Next week will be our last session with Kimberly before the summer break, as she won’t be back until September. To celebrate, she’ll be hosting a Superheroes and Princesses themed session! she would love the children to come dressed up to make the session even more magical and fun.
With the weather warming up again, please remember to:
Apply sun cream before your child arrives.
Send your child with a named drinks bottle. We always have cups of water available, but we find children drink more often when they have their own bottle.
Our activities next week will include:
Baking more bread.
Moving our carrots into bigger pots.
Replanting our pumpkins.
Lots of sporty fun, including egg and spoon races, obstacle courses, and other exciting races.
Sound/ Letter of the Week: M/ Mb
Makaton Sign of the Week – Our Makaton sign of the week will be ‘Father / dad’.
We’re looking forward to another fantastic week together! Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Warm wishes
