Playhouse Opening Times – Here is a reminder of our Playhouse Opening times:
Early Bird Session 7.30am – 8.00am Breakfast Club 8.00am – 9.00am
Out of School Club:
Monday to Thursday 3.30pm – 4.30pm: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
Friday 2.30pm – 3.30pm: 3.30pm – 4.30pm : 4.30pm – 5.30pm
This Week – We have spent lots of time outside enjoying the warm weather this week and even managed to do some gardening. The children have also been coming up with some amazing designs for our Easter colouring competition and had fun making pom-poms.
Monday – Activity of choice – The children were able to decide on their own activities today and after the success of last week, the children chose to make some more slime.
Tuesday – Gaming & Forest School – We used pinecones and cotton wool to make fluffy owls and then added eyes and wings of twigs and cotton wool.
Wednesday – Movie & Animation – There was no animation this week as the children enjoyed the lovely weather outside in the garden. For those who decided to stay indoors and watch the film it was The Chronicles of Narnia – The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
Thursday – Craft & Gaming – We had a go at pointillism; painting using acrylic paints and cotton buds to create art using dots.
Friday – Baking – Later today we will be making Baked Cheesy Potato croquettes with mashed potato.

Next Week – Here are some of our planned activities for next week.
Monday – Assortment of activities – Children’s choice of activity. We will also make some salt dough egg shapes ready for decorating on Thursday.
Tuesday – Gaming & Forest School – We will be making our fire and we will be making campfire cones which will be stuffed with chocolate, marshmallow, and strawberries. These will be similar to smores and cooked in foil.
Wednesday – Movie & Animation – The children will be watching Ratatouille. Our animators will continue to use the features in the app to improve their films and will use resources from in and around the Playhouse.
Thursday – Craft & Gaming – We will be making our salt dough egg decorations. These will be painted in a choice of colours and patterns. The children will be bringing them home to hang up for Easter.
Friday – Baking – We will be making Easter Egg nests with Rice Krispies, chocolate, and butter. We will also be making Easter Bunny pots to pop our yummy nests into.
