Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update. We hope you are all keeping safe and well.

This Week – We have settled back into life at the Playhouse. The children have adapted really well to the changes and are staying in their bubbles with their friends. This week we have been making perfume using the flowers and herbs in the garden. We have been bug hunting and have been finding worms, ladybirds and beetles. We’ve ensured that everyone is happy, settled and enjoying themselves. We’ve had a lovely week.

Next Week’s Sessions – Next week we will be planting sunflowers. We will restart our forest school activities. We will continue to ensure that all the children are happy and have fun!

Enjoy & Engage – Rachel has shared an activity on Tapestry for you … it’s based on sharing your child’s interests! It’s all about sharing their favourite toys or things they like to do and have some time together. Here are a few ideas:  * If your child’s favourite toy is a teddy you could have a teddy bears picnic * If your child enjoys role play you could set up a shop or vets together We thought it would be nice to play and spend time together. Forest School – We’ll be providing you with an update next week, until then here is a really quick and easy way to make a Bird feeder kebab with your child. Please go to:  https://www.rspb.org.uk/fun-and-learning/for-kids/games-and-activities/activities/make-a-bird-kebab/

Coming into the Playhouse – If your child is coming into the Playhouse for any sessions, you do not need to bring slippers or wellies. We are trying to limit cross contamination so please just bring in a packed lunch and water bottle. We have plenty of spare clothes. Please no toys or books from home. Thank you.

Invoices – With this term being a little different we will only invoice you for the sessions that your child attends and these will be issued when the Summer Term has nearly ended. For those children who receive the 15 hours government funding and the Additional hours funding, your sessions will be covered using your funded hours, as per normal circumstances and guidelines.

Keep an eye on Tapestry, we will be adding new activities on here for you to access! We would love to see and hear how you are all keeping, especially if you are talking part in any of our activities.

Have a lovely weekend, stay safe and well!

Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
