Thank you – Playhouse Drop Off & Pick up …

Thank you very much for helping us with the changes to our gate procedures, it has really made a difference to our children. This ensures that we are not running to the buzzer repeatedly to open the gate, ensuring the children’s needs are being met and our focus is on supporting and caring for them.

Please could you ensure that you pass on this information to Grandparents and/or friends if they are picking up.  Thank you!

Our adventures at the Playhouse this week…

This week has been full of reading nursery rhymes; and we have been chatting about our favourite ones.

Thank you so much for joining in the fun of World Book Day, all the costumes were fantastic! The children had great fun!

We have been building with objects by ordering and sequencing sizes, building on recognition of little, medium, and big. We have been extending the children’s understanding of sizes and mathematical language; using the weighing scales to explore different concepts such as heavy and light!
We have been exploring a variety of fine motor activities and we have been cutting, threading, using our pencil control! The children created their own beautiful bookmarks!

Things we will be doing….

Next week we will continue to build with objects to order and sequence sizes, build on recognition of little, medium, and big. We will be extending the children’s understanding of sizes and mathematical language; using the weighing scales to explore different concepts such as heavy and light! We want to make sure that all children have an opportunity to practice their fine motor skills.

We will also continue with cutting, threading, pencil control, and much more!
We will be reading the Three Billy Goats Gruff to tie in with our sizing activities.
