Dear Parents / Carers
Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the menu for next session’s snacks:
Monday – Toasted sandwiches
Tuesday – Wholewheat pasta and sauce
Wednesday – Potato smiles and baked beans
Thursday – Wraps with a choice of filling
Friday – Hot dogs
There is a salad bar and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – When we return in September we will be getting out our sewing box and will be making some lavender bags or hearts. The lavender has been grown at the playhouse and is currently drying out!
This Week in the OOSC – This week we’ve said farewell to our Year 6 pupils .. we had great fun on Wednesday at our End of Term party .. everyone enjoyed their pizzas! We’ve started thinking about our holidays and have been colouring holiday pictures.
Thank you – A big Thank you again to Dan, this week … he’s repaired our dishwasher at very short notice and has kindly painted the mud kitchen. Thank you.
Year 6 leavers – We would like to wish all our Year 6 leavers all the very best in September in their new Secondary schools.
Thank you from the Staff – a very big thank you for all the lovely gifts that we’ve received. We hope you all have a lovely summer break. Stay safe and we will see some of you in September.
Slippers – Just a reminder to bring in slippers for September to keep feet cosy.
The OOSC Trophy – Our OOSC Trophy for this year has been presented to Ben Ellis for always being polite and sharing. Well done Ben!
