Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next sessions:
Monday – Sandwiches
Tuesday – Whole wheat pasta and sauce
Wednesday –Toasted crumpets
Thursday – Baked beans on wholemeal toast
Friday – Scrambled egg on wholemeal toast
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – The children has asked if we can have a drama and dance week next week; we will plan our activities around these theme!
This Week in the OOSC – This week we have enjoyed our Great British Bake Off Week! Emily Lawson has shared her thoughts; ‘We have done a Bake off that the Fun Buddies arranged, we had 10 minutes to decorate a biscuit. They tasted them and judged them. The winner got a certificate. When we went home we ate them’.
A few reminders:
After school clubs – Please don’t forget to let us know if your child is attending a club after school but, please wait for confirmation from school first.
Ice Creams – The Friends will be selling ice creams after school on a Friday, at 50p each, if it’s a nice sunny day. If you would like your child/children to participate, please ensure you bring in 50p in a named and sealed envelope on a Friday morning.
Booked sessions – When a session is booked in the Breakfast Club and OOSC, these sessions will remain payable even if your child does not attend, unless we have sufficient notice. Thank you.
Ladies Afternoon Tea Party – If you would like to attend, please confirm by Tuesday 20th June, tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
