Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘A’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ’A’.
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is light green! Please can your child bring in a light green item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This Week – We’ve had lots of fun making Muffin Pizza’s with lots of different toppings. We’ve observed the different birds visiting the garden, we’ve also made some binoculars! The children have also had lots of fun role playing post offices and have been busy stamping & posting letters!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – We’ll be preparing for Chinese New Year, doing some research ready for our Temple Trip and we’ll be having a go at some woodwork!
Committee Social Evening – Our Playhouse Committee would like to invite you to a social gathering at The Bluebell, Helpston from 7.30pm on Wednesday 3rd February. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other parents of the Playhouse, so please come along and have a drink and a chat!
Threadworm – There’s been a case of Threadworm reported in Preschool, please can you ensure you encourage your child to wash their hands with soap and water. Please can you keep your child’s nails short and be extra vigilant. If you suspect your child has Threadworm, please treat with medication from the chemist, ensure that each family member is treated and wash all bedclothes and bedding on the hottest possible wash!
Zoolab – We have a fantastic opportunity coming up… a Zoolab Ranger will be visiting Preschool on Monday 22nd February from 9.30 – 10.30am and they’ll be talking about Animals in Winter. If your child is not normally in Preschool on a Monday and you would like them to attend, please bring them along to Preschool ready for 9.30am, they must be accompanied by a parent or carer for this session.
Helpston’s Got Talent – It’s back, this event raises valuable funds for both the Preschool and Out of School Clubs. Please help us by supporting this event on Saturday 27th February. Please contact Alexa Greene or a member of the Committee to enter or for tickets!
