Red Nose Day

On Friday 13th March, the Pre School children took part in Red Nose Day and spent time understanding the meaning of it.  They learnt about Matilda’s story to help explain why we raise money. Matilda is a 5 year old girl who lives with her family in Zambia, born with paralysis down the left side of her body and one leg shorter than the other.  With thanks to a project funded by Red Nose Day, she was able to receive physiotherapy and can now walk to school.  We used Matilda’s story to explain to the children that the money we raise can help other children like Matilda.
