Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘g’! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘g’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have continued to look at winter and we have been to the Nature area today to collect sticks for next week’s activities.
Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – We are going to continue our winter themed activities and we are also going to start to look at birds. We are going to build a bird hive to spot the birds coming into the Playhouse garden. We are going to look at the story Room on a Broom and we’ll make our own broomsticks with the sticks we collected today.
Fleece – Please can you check to make sure that you are taking the correct fleece home at the end of each session. It would be great if key items of clothing could be named to ensure that they can returned to the correct family. Thank you.
New member of the Team – We would like to welcome Claire Edwards to the Playhouse team, she joins us for all areas of the Playhouse – Breakfast Club, Preschool and the OOSC!
Entrance Gate – Please, please can you check and make sure that the gate closes properly as you enter and exit the Playhouse grounds. Please check that the magnets are connected and the gate is firmly closed. Many thanks for your assistance.
John Clare School Intruder Alarm – There was a technical fault with the John Clare School intruder alarm this week. If you hear the alarm out of school hours, please report this to the Police via their non-emergency number, dial 101 to report the incident.
Thank you – Thank you for all of the lovely Christmas gifts, we were overwhelmed .. ‘thank you’. We would like to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year!
Hot Lunches – We have received confirmation from John Clare that all bookings for a hot lunch must be made on a Monday, the School cook caters for the exact number of lunches on a daily basis and is not able to accommodate last minute bookings. Thank you for your help!
