Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next sessions:
Monday – Scrambled egg on toast
Tuesday – Whole wheat pasta with sauce
Wednesday –Toasted crumpets
Thursday – Baked beans on wholemeal toast
Friday – Sandwiches
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – It will be messy play week, next week. Please make sure your child has a change of clothes, just in case they want to get really messy.
This Week in the OOSC – What a busy week, on Monday we made some ghost and pumpkin jar and continued with our Halloween activities. On Thursday we started to celebrate Guy Fawkes and carried out some wonderful explosions.
Your help – We still need small tins to make our Christmas cakes. Please can you let us have any of your clean used tins for this activity?
Xmas Fundraising – Bags – This year we have decided to take part in additional fundraising with personalised shopping bags, these have been designed by your children so will make great Xmas gifts for friends and family. The bags come in two sizes and we have examples in the Playhouse, they will be £6.00 & £7.00 each. If any friends and family would like a go, please let us know and you can take away extra templates, we will then submit these with our order! We must have all orders in by Friday 11th November 2016.
URGENT ACTION REQUIRED: After School Clubs – If your child is attending a club after school e.g. football, hockey, chess, Art you must confirm this in writing to us as soon as your child has a confirmed place! This week we have spent unnecessary time looking for children who have been booked into the OOSC who are also attending after school clubs… this is causing unnecessary distress for the children waiting to go to the OOSC. Please, please confirm your child’s arrangements if they are attending any clubs this term by email. Many thanks for your assistance in this matter.
