AGM – Final reminder!! The AGM is being held next week on 23rd September at the Golden Pheasant at Etton at 7.30pm. We will be looking for new Committee members so if you can spare any time and are interested please speak to Amy Copland, Chairperson or email the Playhouse.
Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘T’. Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘T’.
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is green! Please can your child bring in a green item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This week – This week we’ve been picking apples and have been discussing ‘where they come from’, we’ve made fruit salad and have been discussing healthy foods. Have you seen your child’s self-portrait? Please see the fantastic display in the Playhouse, there are lots of budding artists!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Thank you for the lovely photo’s that have been brought in but, please can we have more to continue with our ‘All About me’ and our current project. On Friday, Leanne Jackson will bring in her horse to coincide with our Pet topic.
Hot Lunches – Hot Lunches must be booked and paid for in advance. Please speak to Sam or Lucy if you require any further assistance.
The Playhouse Gate – Please ensure the gate at the entrance to the Playhouse is closed and do not leave this open for other parents, this is to ensure we meet the Governments Safeguarding policies for your children. We know that the children love to open the gate but, please can you make sure that an adult presses the green button.
A plea – Do you have any old telephones, phone books, mugs or clocks for our home corner and playhouse outside? We are also collecting bottle tops for our junk modelling, magazines for cutting up and newspapers for messy play? We need all of these so feel free to bring them in! Thank you.
