Dear Parents / Carers
Water Play – We are having a water play session each Thursday in the OOSC. Please can you let us know if you do not wish for your child to take part. If you are happy for your child to join in, please can you bring in a change of clothes. Some of the children were a little soggy on Thursday. Many thanks.
This Week – We’ve had lots of fun playing outside in the garden this week, especially with our new wooden limbo. Inside the children have been very creative with the playdough and have loved playing with the new Buckaroo game.
Monday – The children had great fun playing in our mud kitchen.
Tuesday – Forest School – The children had great fun deciding what to make, they had hammers, nails, wood, wheels, togs, corks available to use.
Wednesday – Games & Challenges – With the sun shining, our new limbo made it’s first appearance. The children had an amazing time trying it out.
Thursday – Waterplay – With a lovely day on Thursday, the children created their own river in the Playhouse Garden using a drainpipe. They decided to use sponges as their boats. They had such a great time; they have asked if they can do it all again next week.
Friday – Baking – The children will be cooking over the campfire, and they’ll be making a banana dessert with chocolate.

Monday – Mud Kitchen – There will be lots of mud kitchen recipes to try!
Tuesday – Forest
School & Den Building – The children will be making mud pie monsters
using natural resources from the garden.
Wednesday – Games
& Challenges – Weather dependent we
will be outside, we will be taking our large Connect 4 and other games outside in
the garden. Plus lots of other board games for the children if they prefer to
rest indoors.
Thursday – Water
Play – We will be racing frozen ice boats and we will be having lots
of fun with water, the children can recreate their river.
Friday – Baking – The children will be making chocolate biscuit balls and they
will be weighing their ingredients and making their biscuit balls using
biscuits and cocoa powder.
