Playhouse Opening Times – Here is a reminder of our
Playhouse Opening times:
Early Bird Session 7.30am – 8.00am Breakfast Club 8.00am –
9.00am
Out of School Club: Monday to Thursday 3.30pm – 4.30pm: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
Friday
2.30pm – 3.30pm: 3.30pm – 4.30pm: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
This Week – We’ve had lots of Easter activities taking place this week. There have been sensory activities on the tuff tray, colouring and making Easter nests. Outside we’ve had new bats, balls and Swingball to play with and the children also had fun playing with hook-a-duck.
Monday – Activity of choice – The children made some salt dough egg shapes ready for decorating throughout the week.
Tuesday – Gaming & Forest School – We postponed our fire due to the weather, but we will do this on Tuesday the 19th April. We made our campfire cones and cooked them in the oven instead. They were delicious.
Wednesday – Movie & Animation – The children watched Ratatouille whilst enjoying their popcorn. Our animators continued to use the features in the app to improve their films and used resources from in and around the Playhouse.
Thursday – Craft & Gaming – The children painted their salt dough decorations; we’ve had lots of lovely easter items – Easter eggs, flowers, chicks.
Friday – Baking – Later today we will be making our Easter Bunny pots and we will be making Easter Egg nests with Rice Krispies and chocolate to go inside them.

Next Term – Here are some of our planned activities for next term.
Tuesday – Gaming & Forest School – We will be back in garden and plan to do some gardening and activities with apples.
Wednesday – Movie & Animation – The children will continue to develop their movie skills and will be able to decide on the movie themselves.
Thursday – Craft & Gaming – We will be doing various crafts to include sewing and marble painting.
Friday – Baking – We will be making a ‘no bake cake’.
