We would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have enjoyed listening to the children telling us all about their magical Christmas experiences and favourite presents! We have enjoyed exploring balancing and the children made a wonderful obstacle course; they also enjoyed using balancing boards! It was so tricky, they were very brave!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week, we will be making a lovely group fruit salad, which the children will take part in preparing it. They will explore and try an assortment of fruit.
The children will also be painting self-portraits and we will be looking at how we are all different, wonderful, and unique! We will be noticing different eye colours, hair and more!
Forest school next week – We will be outside doing lots of exciting forest school activities, please ensure your child has a pair of named wellies and as the weather is colder, please wrap up your child in lots of warm clothes; a warm coat, hat, gloves, and scarf would be perfect . We would love to be outside for as long as we can, the children learn so much from nature, with lots of layers we will be prepared for any weather! .
Term Dates – Please see the attached term Dates for John Clare Primary school, this is for your information There is an extra Bank Holiday on Monday 8th May for the King’s Coronation.
School Reception 2023 – The deadline to apply for a School Reception Place for September 2023 is 15th January 2023. Please make sure you have applied online before the deadline. If you need any help, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Change in Circumstances – If any of your personal or family circumstances change, please don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can help and support your child.
Any help? – Please do not hesitate to speak to staff if you have any concerns or would just like a catch up, we are always available.
