Committee – Playhouse Christmas Raffle – We would like to invite you to take part in our Christmas Raffle, all proceeds go to the Playhouse, including our OOSC! This Week – We’ve had a very Christmassy week. Wednesday was our Christmas party with hot dogs and biscuits to eat and lots of party games such as musical chairs, musical statues, and present relay races. Also, there was lots of dancing. We’ve been making red and green pom-poms, making, and playing with red playdough, decorating gingerbread house biscuits and lots of dancing and singing to Christmas songs!
Monday – Craft Club – We made Christmas wreaths from a choice of tinsel, glitter, tissue paper and decorations. The wreaths were amazing!
Tuesday – Science Society – We had to postpone our science activity this week as there was no lemonade delivered with our shopping. Instead, the children had great fun decorating gingerbread house biscuits.
Wednesday – Movie & Animation – We postponed our movie and animation as we held our Christmas Party. The children celebrated with hot dogs, biscuits, they played Musical chairs, Corners, Musical statues, and a Christmas presents relay race. There were lots of chocolate prizes given out.
Thursday – Forest school & Den building – We stayed indoors this week and kept nice and warm and cosy. We watched Santa Paws with hot chocolate, as requested by the children.
Friday – Baking – Later today we will be making peppermint creams. We will pop them into Christmas bags and we’ll wrap with ribbon ready to bring home.

Next week – Here are some of our planned activities for next week in the OOSC. We will also have Christmas movies on this week for any children that would just like to relax. It’s been a busy term.
Monday – Craft Club – We will be making Christmas tags and cards from a selection of craft items to bring home.
Tuesday – Science Society – All being well, our Christmas science activities will continue as we use lemonade to make jingle bells dance. Fingers crossed for the lemonade!
Wednesday – Animation & Cinema Club – We have prepared lots of christmas resources for our animators this week. The children will be able to choose their Chritmas movie this week.
