Playhouse Activities This Week – The Playhouse has been full of Christmas spirit this week. We’ve been decoration making, singing, and dancing. Christmas bingo has been played with great number recognition, along with snap and shape dinosaur.
Forest School – In Forest School we read The Night Before Christmas. We talked about Christmas trees, family traditions and gifts. We then had a Christmas tea party and created our own tea potions using herbal bags, leaves, orange peel and moss. The children shared the kettles, spoons, and bowls. Then after using their senses to see, smell and touch they decided to make one big bowl. It was tea, then pie, soup and finally my dinner! Yummy! What a wonderful party we had. Happy Christmas!
Playhouse Activities Next Term – Next term we will be looking at ‘What makes us special and unique’.
Term Dates – Just a reminder that we finish today and re-open on Thursday 5th January 2023.
