Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we created the Three Little Pigs houses. We looked at size ordering which was very popular. The rain didn’t stop us this week, we ventured outside, suited, and booted. Please remember wellie boots and suitable clothing for the outdoors for the colder days, especially when the children are taking part in our Forest school J. We have been creating pasta necklaces, focusing on counting and threading and our fine motor skills. It’s Pudsey Day today, thank you for your kind donations for Children in Need, there is still time to bring in a £1.00 donation next week if you’ve missed it today. The Christmas songs have started in earnest; please can you practice at home .. happy singing!
Forest School – In Forest School we read a book with lots of nursery rhymes. The children joined in, and we talked about our favourite songs. Then collecting wood, pans, spoons, cones, and conkers we made some music. The children experimented by going fast, slow, loud, and quiet. Singing to the beat and we also practised some Christmas songs!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week we will be looking at road safety, taking care to cross the road. We’ll have the Vets role play and we’ll be talking about taking care of our animals.
Reminder: Christmas Cards – Friday 16th December will be our last posting day at the Playhouse to make sure that everyone receives their cards before we finish for Christmas. We have a ‘Children’s Name List’ which will be on the side, please help yourself and the post box will be visible inside the Playhouse ready for the children to post their cards.

Sanitiser – Please can you sanitise your hands before pressing the buzzer at the gate as we head into the colder weather. Thank you .. let’s work together to reduce the risk of infection.
