Reminder – Face Coverings – Thank you for your help so far .. just a reminder that you need to wear a face covering when you come into the Playhouse unless you are exempt.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have enjoyed many festive activities! We have been listening to lots of Christmas songs and dancing! We have been busy learning our Christmas songs too! We have been learning all about Hanukkah and we have painted menorahs . On Friday we have been dancing with Poppy and we enjoyed lots of dancing to Christmas songs!
Severe Weather – Please look out for our Severe Weather policy and with the weather turning cold, please can you ensure your child has a warm winter coat, hat, gloves, and scarf. Thank you.
Forest School – In Forest school this week we read My First Christmas and talked about stars! We explored an ice star to see what Christmassy treasures were inside, pinecones, orange, tree, leaves and more stars! The children then made some leaf glitter to stick to their own star decoration. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! ️
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week, we are going to bake some Christmas cookies! We will be thinking about where the ingredients come from, measuring ingredients, and using fine motor skills to mix the ingredients We are going to video our Christmas dance that we have created with Poppy for you to see on tapestry! We can’t wait .
Home activity – This week’s home activity is called ‘Ice’ Have fun making, exploring and investigating the ice that you create! Please see attached document on tapestry for more information!
Nut Free – Just a reminder that we are a nut free setting, please avoid any nut related foods in your child’s packed lunch. Thank you. If you would like any further advice, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Christmas Party – Friday 17th December from 12.00pm – 2.15pm.
Committee – Christmas Raffle – Please see attached a flyer from our Committee for our Christmas Raffle, there are some amazing prizes to be won!!!
