Dear Parents / Carers

Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘G’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ’G’.

Colour of the Week – Our next colour is yellow! Please can your child bring in a yellow item to share with us at Circle time!

Playhouse Activities This Week –  We’ve been creating patterns of symmetry and positional activities to support your child’s understanding. Our Christmas tree is now centre stage. We’ve been continuing with our preparations for the Christmas Show and have also started our Christmas cards, we also have a Playhouse postbox! We’ve also made cinnamon whirls which left us all feeling hungry!

Playhouse Activities Next Week – We will be making reindeer food to help the reindeers land outside your house on Christmas Eve! We’ll also be making bird feeders to help children understand the importance of looking after wildlife during these winter months. We will look at how people celebrate Christmas around the world and we’ll be making gingerbread men and women.

Blue Books & Library Books – Just a reminder to bring in your child’s blue books and return any library books so that we can return these to the library bus without charge!

Playhouse Xmas Fayre – This is being held on the 12th December in the Scout Hut, 1.00pm – 3.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!! We also need your help –we would love items for our raffle, tombola and nearly new stall. We also need cakes (homebaked or shop bought) and we would be grateful if you could fill a sweetie jar – all help raise money for the Playhouse!

Have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards

The Playhouse Team
