Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘ck’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘ck’.
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is PURPLE! Please can your child bring in a PURPLE item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we’ve been outside carrying out Road Safety activities. We’ve been car parking, using zebra crossings, using the bikes and cars, all to raise awareness. We’ve also been looking at the Autumn colours and have been discussing our diets on how to keep ourselves fit and healthy.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week we will create a Womery for the children so they can observe the worm habitat. We’ll be making Halloween decorations and carrying out lots of spooky activities. If your child would like to dress up in a Halloween costume next week, we’d love to see their spooky outfits!
Recycling – Can you please let us have any of your 4 pint milk bottles with their tops in preparation for an activity after half term? All washed, please! We also need any milk bottle tops and if you have any spare cushions or a rug, we would like them for cosy times for your children to snuggle! Thank you
Colder Weather – It’s now turning a bit colder. Please can you ensure that your child arrives at Preschool with a warm coat. Thank you.
Blue Books – Please can you bring in your child’s Blue Book for every session so that staff can add any information, if needed! We use these to share information as we do not always have time to discuss everything with you at pick up time. Many thanks.
Social Events – We have a few dates for your diary for upcoming Social events being organised by our Committee.
Sunday 22nd November – 3.00pm – 5.00pm – Family Bingo – Helpston Village Hall £5.00 per family ticket
Saturday 12th December – 1.00pm – 3.30pm – Christmas Fayre – Helpston Scout Hut
Saturday 27th February 2016 – Helpston’s Got Talent
One to One Consultations – If you would like to have a One to One Consultation with your Keyworker, please let us know and we will arrange for a mutually convenient appointment. Reports for your child will be issued from 19th October onwards.
