COVID – If your child or a family member tests positive for COVID via an LFD or PCR, please can you let us know. Thank you for your help!
Sanitiser – With the rise in cases of COVID, we have implemented a new measure. Please can you sanitise your hands before pressing the buzzer at the gate. Thank you .. let’s work together to reduce the risk of infection.
Playhouse Activities This Week – We had to adapt some of our plans due to the heat. The children have been amazing managing in such hot weather. We had loads of water play to cool us down. The ice-cream shop has been very busy with lots of orders. Some of the prices have been mind-blowing .
Forest School – In Forest School this week we talked about our favourite memories of summer. The children talked about play times, toys, ice creams and holidays. Their favourite activity is using tea bags with tea pots so this week instead of just creating, they had to guess what smells the bags were, Strawberries and cream, orange and mint. Then to extend their play, the child-led activity grew into making bark castles, just like being at the beach. What a fun time!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week we’re predicted to have extreme heat! The children will need lots of water, a sun hat and sun cream. Please leave your child’s sun cream in their bag and we will re-apply, as needed. Please can you take any slippers and wellies home with you. We will be doing a variety of fun activities during our last week of term.
End of Term Party – Please watch out for Party Food slips, they are being sent home with your child.
Reminder: Children Leaving for Primary School – Please download your Child’s Learning journal from Tapestry, this can be downloaded from your child’s Tapestry account. If you have any problems, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Reminder: Change in Circumstances – If any of your personal or family circumstances change, please don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can help and support your child.
