Dear Parents / Carers
COVID – If your child or a family member tests positive for COVID via an LFD or PCR, please can you let us know. We are seeing coughs and colds turning positive COVID too; if your child is unwell or showing any signs of a new cough or cold, please be mindful that it could be COVID, test if you wish and keep them at home. Thank you for your help!

Playhouse Activities This Week – We have been learning about the ladybird life cycle. There have been lots of ladybirds in the garden but unfortunately no larva or pupas. The Shepherd’s hut is a great success with group sessions happening and the children relaxing inside. We have created a blossom tree and some ladybirds for our spring display.
Forest School – In Forest School this week we read Monsters Love Colours and looked at how different colours are made. We used colour charts to match colours in the environment. The children found flowers that were pink, purple, and yellow. They found leaves that were green and red, brown bark and yellow lichen. The children made some coloured tea; they mixed blue and yellow water to make green, then they added their own extras to see if the colours changed. They shared, took turns, poured, scooped, and worked well together!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week our activities will be based around the Gruffalo. Don’t forget the theatre trip on Friday and look out for a further communication next week to confirm final arrangements. We will be planting sunflower seeds and we’ll be looking at how plants grow.
Hot Lunches – We are pleased to confirm that there will be a new Lunch menu with effect from 9th May 2022. If you have booked a hot lunch and would like to change your child’s meal choice, please do not hesitate to drop an email to Sam.
Large Yogurt pots – If you have any empty, adult size (large) yogurt pots, please can you bring them in. Thank you.
