Dear Parents / Carers
Welcome back to a new school year and a very warm welcome to any new children joining us!
This Week in the OOSC – This week we have spent our time outside enjoying the good weather. We’ve also been playing with water.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – Next week we will be having a week dedicated to Roald Dahl. We will be doing crafts and activities based on his amazing stories. If the weather is good we will be holding a Miss Trunchbull Mini Olympics!!
Evening snacks – The children have very kindly given us a list of their favourite snacks and we’ll be selecting snacks from the list every two weeks. We always offer a snack to every child but they don’t always fancy it .. if it is important that your child has a snack please tell a member of staff and we will ensure a snack is eaten. Here is their snack selection: pasta / wraps / hot dogs / make your own pizza / tomato soup / cheese & crackers / fruit salad / fish fingers / bacon sandwiches / crumpets / pineapple pizza.
Slippers – Please can you bring in a pair of slippers, crocs or shoes for your child to wear in the OOSC. Thank you.
Breakfast – Please can you ask your child to let us know if they would like Breakfast in the morning, we would just like to make sure that no one is missed!
OOSC Notice Board – Just to let you know that we have a new OOSC Notice Board for parents in the Cloakroom. It’s behind the door … please watch this space!
Messy Play – Please feel free to bring in a spare set of clothes or an apron for messy play. We can keep it safely here for you & might save on washing uniform mid week!
John Clare School Clubs – Please can you let us know if and when your child has a confirmed space at any of the John Clare School clubs as we do need your permission for them to attend. So far, only the dates for Cookery Club have been announced and places are limited.
