Dear Parents / Carers
Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter for next week will be ‘ck’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘ck’.
Colour of the Week – Next week’s colour is BLACK! Please can your child bring in a BLACK item to share with us at Circle time?
Photographs – Individual photographs will be taking place on Tuesday 3rd March. If your child is in Preschool, the Team will ensure they are ready for their photo’s. If your child is not in the Playhouse on Tuesday and you would their photo to be taken, please bring them along at 9.30am.
World Book Day – This is on Thursday 5th March. If your child would like to dress up, please can they dress a character from their favourite book?
Beautiful Weather – We have seen a change in the weather! If the weather stays fine we will take the children on a mini beast hunt next week.
Loft – As you will have seen the Playhouse has a new loft. Your children are having great fun and are making the most of this new addition. We are looking to improve our Home Corner so if you have any old mugs, plates or kitchen equipment, then please can we have it! Your children can then make the most of real life experiences.
Fairy Door – Please don’t be surprised if your child mentions Fairy’s, we have introduced a very small Fairy door & the children are really excited! Some of the children were reading stories to our Fairy. We are going to make Fairy cakes next week.
The Book People – This is a company who sells books, usually at very reasonable prices. We have some books at the moment from the Book People, they are situated in the Playhouse above the children’s tray. Please take a look and feel free to purchase them. If you need any help, please ask a member of the team. The Book People visit us on a regular basis.
Helpston’s Got Talent – it’s finally arrived. Please contact Amanda Webb if you would like tickets for tomorrow night, Saturday 28th February.
Active Kids Vouchers – Thank you for your vouchers so far!! We still need more!!
