Committee – Playhouse Christmas Raffle – We would like to invite you to take part in our Christmas Raffle, with all proceeds going to the Playhouse. Playhouse Activities This Week – We have carried on baking cheese straws this week, the smells are amazing! There has been lots of construction building, with imaginations flowing. We have been creating Christmas wreaths and baubles to brighten up our Playhouse.
Forest School – In Forest School we read The Best Christmas Ever and talked about what kind of things make our Christmas great. We went on a stick hunt, chose our own bells and pipe cleaners, the children added some rosemary, bay, and fir to create their jingle sticks. We then had a sing song to test out the jingle sticks.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week we will be learning all about Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival Of lights and we’ll be looking at how others celebrate Christmas. We will be taking a trip around the world, and we will be investigating the frost and ice. Our Christmas party is being held on Friday, there will be no hot lunches and we will provide all the party food.
Christmas Carols at the Playhouse – Our Christmas Carols are being held on Tuesday. If your child is not normally in on a Tuesday and they will be attending, please can you drop him/her off at 9.30am, if this possible as this will give us time to get them ready. Our carols will start at 10.30am.
Reports – Your Child’s Autumn Report will be available via your Tapestry account. If you would like to arrange a meeting, please don’t hesitate to get in touch or speak to a staff member.
