Dear Parents / Carers
Treasurer Vacancy – Due to unforeseen circumstances we now have a vacancy for our Treasurer role. Do you know someone who could spare us an hour a month? We will not be able to operate with without this key role so please contact our Chair, Pip Power if you are interested.
Can you help? It’s that time of year when we start to think about Christmas. Do you have any old Christmas decorations, newspapers, and empty, clean jam jars with lids (any size). They are all very greatly received and will help us decorate the Playhouse for the festive season. Thank you.
COVID – If your child or a family member tests positive for COVID via an LFD or PCR, please can you let us know. Thank you for your help!
Sanitiser – Please can you sanitise your hands before pressing the buzzer at the gate as we head into the colder weather. Thank you .. let’s work together to reduce the risk of infection.
Playhouse Activities This Week – Wow, it has been a super busy week. Lots of Halloween spooky fun; spooky dancing, creepy crawly sensory, orange playdough for making our own squishy pumpkins. We have used the hollow blocks a lot this week, we’ve been building motorbike, castles, and an adventure playground. There has been a lot of concentration with balancing and movement.
Forest School – In Forest School we read Room on the Broom and talked about Halloween. We created potions using tea bags, herbs, bark, and leaves. The children guessed the smells and we talked about textures, volume, and colour. They shared, poured, and scooped into one large cauldron, just like the witch in the book. We had lots of fun!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Owe will be caring for our teeth and we’ll be looking at foods that keep them healthy.
Christmas Party – Please don’t forget to let us know if your child can attend our Christmas Party on 16th December, we need to update Santa! Thank you to all those parents who have confirmed.

Friday 9th December – Christmas Church Service at St Botolph’s
