Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘o’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘o’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been a very hot week … we’ve had a summer themed week, we’ve role played with our ice cream parlour, we’ve been off on a train holiday and we’ve done lots of ice cream craft.
Playhouse activities next week – Next week we will have a travel agent in the Playhouse, we will be creating passports and travelling the world. We might make biscuits and have some fun cooking.
Thank you – There are a few people to thank this week!
- A huge Thank you to Mr Weston for putting on an amazing disco.
- Thank you too for those who attended the disco, you raised a fantastic £167.36 towards our defibrillator. We are getting closer to our target of £1000.00.
- A big shout out to Dan for spending so much of his spare time rebuilding our flower beds that were broken. He even managed to come every night this week in the scorching heat … THANK YOU!
Leavers Party – This will be held on Friday 20th July 12.00pm – 2.15pm. A slip will be issued shortly to ask if you would kindly contribute to an item of party food.
Leavers parents only: Please can you arrive at the Playhouse between 1.45pm – 1.50pm to celebrate your child’s time at Pre-school. Your child is very welcome to bring / wear their party clothes. Please can you let us know if you will be attending. We are now putting together Leavers folders and tapestry so there will be no more observations coming through for our leavers. There is no obligation but, if you would like to leave us any feedback on our facebook page or email your comments in to us as we would like to add some of your lovely comments onto Facebook.
Sweetie Tombola – We have been asked by the Friends of John Clare to help with the Sweetie tombola for the School fete .. details and a bag (not a jar!!) will be sent home very soon!
Molly – Just to let you know that Molly is leaving us today. We would like to wish her all the very best & a big ‘Thank you’ for all her hard work.
