media account is ‘Private’. Unfortunately, there are people on the internet who
do not have the best intentions. We know children want followers but it’s
important that they ‘friend’ children they know and stay safe online. There is
some really useful information on the NSPCC and Internetmatters.org.

This Week – We’ve had lots of restaurant role play
inside this week while outside in the garden the tractors, trikes and mud
kitchen have been popular.
Monday – The children had their choice of activity; some enjoyed their time relaxing in the OOSC while others were outside with their friends.
Tuesday – Forest School – We tidied some of the garden beds. The children loved pulling out the sticky weed and pulling it off their clothes and each other’s. The children scattered some wildflower seeds in their newly prepared wildflower beds.
Wednesday – Games & Challenges – We held a hula hoop challenge to see who could do the most in the allocated time. Some of the children also helped their friends by counting how many they could do. It was great fun, there were hoops around all parts of the body!
Thursday – Craft & Sewing – We used pipe cleaners and beads to make flowers. The children really enjoyed making their flowers and they turned out lovely.
Friday – Baking – The children will be making chocolate orange scones. They will be weighing out the ingredients, mixing and shaping their scones.

are some of our planned activities for next week.
Monday – This will be the children’s choice of activity.
Tuesday – Forest
School – We will be attempting to make popcorn over our campfire.
We’re hoping for good weather!
Wednesday – Games
& Challenges – We will be taking our
large Connect 4 outside in the garden. Plus lots of other games for the
children to play.
Thursday – Craft
& Sewing – We will
drawing our own designs on material and then cutting it out and sewing together
to make small pillows.
Friday – Baking – The children will be
weighing out their ingredients next week to make Sugar cookies!
