Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘r’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘r’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been lots of fun, we’ve been busy learning about the Amazon and it’s animals. Today (Friday), we had a visit from Zoolab who brought in a snake, a giant snail, a Gekko, lizard, cockroach and a tree frog …. the children were amazing & were brave enough to hold all of the animals!!
Playhouse activities next week – Next week we will take a look at healthy food and good dental hygiene. We will practice washing our hands. We have Sports Day on Tuesday, any cake donations will be greatly received.
Sun safety – We have joined the campaign for Sun Safe Nurseries and we’ll be sending you a Sun safety fact sheet with this week’s update. It’s packed full of essential information on sun safety and how to protect your child’s precious skin. We will be sending you a letter for you to read, sign and return. If you have any sun hats you no longer need, please can we have them as spares for the Playhouse. Thank you.
Fundraising – thanks to your amazing fundraising at the Easter Fayre we have purchased a woodworking bench and accessories. The children have been having great fun with this already and have been learning new skills. You also paid for the fantastic visit today from Zoolab!
Rising Fives Photo’s – The photo’s have arrived. Each photo is £13.00, if you would like to place an order please pay the appropriate amount into our Account by BACS with ‘Photo’ as the reference. There is a photo on display in the Playhouse for you to take a look at.
