Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘o’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘o’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have been very busy with phonics, numbers and shapes. We have also had lots of listening activities. We’ve also added birdfeeders to the garden so that we can watch the birds. We’ve been reading the story of Room on a Broom and some children have made broomsticks and/or robins with the sticks we collected from the Nature area last week.
Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – We are going to look at hibernation and we will look at hedgehogs. We will make a bird hive to watch the birds and we will also make biscuits.
Rising Five’s & School Admissions – Just a reminder that 15th January 2018 is the last day you can apply for your child’s place at school this September.
Thank you – A special ‘Thank you’ this week for Florence, Phoebe and Amy Copland for the donation of dolls and duplo.
Picture frames – Do you have any picture frames you no longer need? If you do, please can you bring them into the Playhouse! Thank you.
Playhouse Clothes – If you have any borrowed clothes at home, please can you return them to the Playhouse as soon as possible… we have run out of spare boys trousers! Many thanks for your assistance.
