Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘r’!  Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘r’!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been Road safety week and we have talked all about Road safety, the children have all received a new reflector for their coat or bag! We’ve also been busy making leaf people and have made delicious cakes. This was messy but great fun! We’ve also had a shape hunt and we’ve played Bingo! We’ve started to look at Caring for earth and have a wonderful ecological display. The children have also been busy painting traffic lights.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we will continue to look at caring for earth and will have lots of activities based around this theme, including recycling, switching off lights and turning off taps. We will start our Christmas and winter themed activities. We will also make some cupcakes!

The Playhouse Book Party Don’t forget to take a look at these great offers. Your books will be here in time for Christmas!

Cold Weather – The weather is now starting to turn cold, please ensure your child has a warm coat, hat, scarf and gloves as we like to spend time outside in the fresh air.

Vacancy – We have a new vacancy at the Playhouse for a Preschool and Out of School Club Practitioner, starting ready for the Spring Term, in January 2018. If you are interested or know someone that might be interested, please pass on the vacancy details included with this weeks update. If you have any questions, please contact Lucy at the Playhouse.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
