Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is e!  Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘e’!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we’ve continued to have our activities based on the Spindrella and Stick man books. On Monday we took part in some bonfire activities. We’ve also had lots of puppet shows this week, the children have had great fun with the puppets.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week is our Spotacular Week in the Playhouse to celebrate Children in Need and we will have a week of spotty activities. Your child can dress in something spotty on any day next week but please bring in £1.00 for this great charity, we hope everyone can join in.

Lunches – Just a reminder that the Playhouse is ‘nut free’, please can you make sure all items in packed lunches are nut free too! Many thanks.

Christmas Carol Concert – letters have been issued for our Christmas Carol Concert which is being held on 12th December. Please return your reply slip as soon as possible and by the 24th November at the very latest.

Christmas Party – This is being held on the 19th December, look out for the details as we are starting to send them out today.

Parent’s Guide to the EYFS – We will be sending out the Parent’s Guide to the EYFS. Please take the time to read through this leaflet; this will refresh and support your understanding of the guidelines we follow when carrying out observations and teaching your child. Everything we do has a purpose and this is to ensure your child is school ready. Please do not hesitate to see a member of the team if you have any questions.

Weekly Diary & What my Child Likes to do… – Please return your child’s Weekly Diary and ‘What my child likes to do’ before 24th November 2017. These will help us, as Key Workers build stronger bonds with your child and helps us gain more knowledge about our ‘key’ children’s interests. It’s great to read what they get up to outside of the Playhouse.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
