Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is p! Please can your child bring in an item which has a p!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have continued to look at Autumn & Elmer! We went on an Autumn walk and created a large Elmer, which the children helped paint. We will also made elephant biscuits. On Thursday we held our Harvest Festival at St Botolphs Church; thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday. Today, we’ve had individual photographs taken and we’ve enjoyed the lovely sunshine.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we will make autumn leaf catchers and we will have lots of sensory activities in the Playhouse. We will also play with the puppets and will hold our very own puppet show.

Illnesses – If your child is poorly, please can you keep him/her at home until recovered! At this time of year there are lots of germs and we would love to reduce the spread of these germs within the playhouse. Thank you.

The Playhouse Book Party – please don’t forget to take a look at our online Book Party, there are some great books on offer!

A few items to look out for:
Sink –
Do you have an old sink? We would like to make a mud kitchen and are currently looking for an old sink!
Milk Bottles – please could you start saving your empty 4 pint milk bottles, we will be using these for an activity during Diwali.
Tombola – do you have any unwanted gifts… we are looking for donations for the tombola for the Casino Night.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
