Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘c’!  Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘c’!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have made cupcakes and we have had lots of autumn sensory activities. We have also taken a look at Diwali and made some great Diva and elephants. Rachel kindly brought in her guinea-pigs today. The children were so kind and gentle. They groomed and fed them.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next term we will focus on the books of Spindrella and Stick man. Our themes will be Bonfire night, caring for our planet, people around the world and storytelling.

Warm clothes – After half term the weather will be cooler, please don’t forget warm clothes and coats. Thank you.

The Playhouse Book Party – Tammy has launched some great Advent book offers & will be available to mid December… don’t forget to take a look! Please see our Book Party email for further details.. Here’s the link: https://book-parties.scholastic.co.uk/party/helpston-playhouse

Thank you – Another Big Thank you to Dan, Cosima’s dad, for all his hard work in the Playhouse garden and for the amazing mud kitchen which he is building for us, we can’t wait to see it!

We hope you all have a lovely half term!

Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
