Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘r’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘r’!

Playhouse Activities This Week – We had a fantastic trip to Bugtopia yesterday, what a great day! We’ve been busy painting bees and millipedes! We’ve been hunting for bugs in the garden and we found lots of bees and butterflies, we also found a cracked egg. We’ve played number games and we also had a special visit from Mrs Bacon, she came in one lunchtime and brought some bugs for us to look at, thinking of our Bugtopia trip and she also brought in fruit to share with us.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we will have some sewing and woodwork activities. We are starting to prepare children for the transition to school. We’ll paint some summer pictures and have a look at turtles. And very important, we’ll have a look at water and summer safety.

Do you need to book any additional sessions? Please could you complete a Booking form as soon as possible if you would any extra sessions before the end of term! This will just give us the opportunity to invoice these before we finish for the summer break.

Thank you – Thank you to Sainsbury’s who have kindly donated lots of Lego cards.

Elsa & Anna Sunglasses – If your child has misplaced a pair of sunglasses, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

We hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
