Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next sessions:
Monday – Pitta bread with fillings
Tuesday – Jacket potatoes
Wednesday – Crackers with cheese
Thursday – Spaghetti hoops on wholemeal toast
Friday – Whole wheat pasta with sauce
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – When we return after half term we will have a Great British Bake Off Week! The Activity Monitors will be our judges and we will ask the children to decorate biscuits to show off their talents!
This Week in the OOSC – This week, on Wednesday our Activity Monitors supervised the building of a Lego maze with the children. This new home for the woodlouse was a great success, food was also provided. This activity was great fun. We also made the most of the weather and enjoyed some time outdoors, in particular, we had a cool game with the hose pipe. We didn’t get too wet!
After school clubs – Please don’t forget to let us know if your child is attending a club after school but, please wait for confirmation from school first. Many thanks!
Ice Creams – We have just been advised that the Friends will be selling ice creams after school on a Friday, at 50p each. If you would like your child/children to participate, please ensure you bring in 50p in a named and sealed envelope on a Friday morning. For the OOSC, this will start after half term.
