Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘t’! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘t’!

Playhouse Activities This Week This week we’ve been talking about Australia. We’ve spoken to the children about this country and have looked at the map. The children have painted the flag and they have made didgeridoos and boomerangs! We visited the Nature area this morning and we’ve had a picnic. The children have been investigating the area and have found bluebells and have also made a camp fire in a den. They’ve used rocks to make a path and we finished off with a story.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions Next week in the Playhouse we will focus our activities on and around Africa. We will also talk about caring for animals and Rachel will bring in her guinea pigs on Monday. We will also make jam tarts!

30 Hours Free Childcare – We now have leaflets from the Council concerning the 30 Hours Free Childcare for Working Families, if you haven’t received a copy and would like some more details, please ask a member of the team. The Government has a really useful website: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Rising Five’s Photographs – If you would like to purchase this photograph, please return your order and money by Friday 12th May 2017.

Reminder – Just a polite reminder, if you would like to discuss anything in connection with Preschool, please arrange to speak to a member of the team within the Preschool premises or send us a message via email. Many thanks for your assistance.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards

The Playhouse Team
