Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next sessions:
Monday – Scrambled egg on toast
Tuesday – Whole wheat pasta with sauce
Wednesday –Toasted crumpets
Thursday – Baked beans on wholemeal toast
Friday – Sandwiches
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – Next week in the OOSC we will be undertaking a challenge using Cheerio’s, this is being supervised by our ‘Fun Buddies’. We also plan to enjoy the great outdoors with more outside activities.
This Week in the OOSC – This week we’ve had great fun measuring our runner beans to see who’s has grown the most! The Fun Buddies have also been helping out with some Mother’s Day activities and the children have made a special sweet treat for their Mum’s. There’s been a lot of talk of Red noses and what the children have been doing at school to celebrate this special fundraising day.
Easter Egg Competition – We are really looking forward to seeing all the fantastic Easter Eggs for our competition. Due to the cost of the eggs, if your child decides not to take part in the competition, please could you return the egg to the playhouse at your earliest convenience! Thank you.
Childcare Choices – The Government have launched a new website this week, Childcare Choices. This website provides parents with a single point of information for all of the government funded childcare offers: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
Easter Fayre – The Easter Fayre is on it’s way … 1st April 2017… We will need cakes on the day if you enjoy baking! All donations are very gratefully received, thank you.
