Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘c’! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘c’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been another very busy week here at the Playhouse. On Monday we talked to the children about Hinduism and the celebration of Holi, their Festival of Colour. Our theme this week has been fish, we’ve been learning all about fish and have looked at Rainbow fish; we’ve also had lots of fishy activities! We had great fun with our visit from Tatty Bumpkin on Monday, with the theme being ‘adventure in the ocean’.
Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we celebrate Red Nose Day, 24th March 2017 and we’ll be having lots of ‘red nose day activities’! Please dress in something red and we would be very grateful if you can bring in £1.00 to help raise money for this great charity! Thank you. We will continue with our ‘Under the Sea’ theme and we’ll take a look at crabs and octopus. We will also undertake some Mother’s Day activities!
Dates for your diary:
Tuesday 28th March – Leavers photograph, this is for the children leaving us to go to Primary School in September, 1.30pm.
Saturday 1st April is our Easter Fayre at John Clare School.
A huge ‘Thank you’ – We would like to pass on our ‘Thanks to everyone’ who attended and supported the Bingo on Sunday, what a great event! You all very kindly raised just over £250 for the Playhouse; We will use this money to purchase items for the benefit of your children, we’ll keep you posted!
