Dear Parents / Carers

Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.

Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next sessions:
Monday Scrambled egg on toast
Tuesday Whole wheat pasta with sauce
Wednesday Toasted crumpets
Thursday Baked beans on wholemeal toast
Friday Sandwiches
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.

Next Sessions in the OOSC – Next week we will be feeding the birds and making bird feeders ready for the RSPB bird watch which is being held on the weekend of the 27th January 2017.

This Week in the OOSC – This week we’ve held our movie evening, this was a great success. The children has asked us to do this more often. They enjoyed hot dogs and popcorn.

You may also notice some changes within the Playhouse… we have some new furniture which was kindly purchased by the Halloween fundraising. Thank you to everyone who organised and attended this event.
We will be using all of these kind donations straight away! Thank you very much, your generosity is very much appreciated.

Dates for your Diary – there are a number of upcoming events being organised by the Playhouse Committee, please save the dates:
Sunday 12th March – Family Bingo, a very popular event for all the family, we had great fun last year!
Saturday 1st April – Easter Fayre, lots of stalls, great raffle prizes, an egg hunt and much more!

Local Fundraising – We have been updated on some local fundraising for a child who used to attend the Playhouse, some of your children came to the Playhouse with Faith Mclennan. Faith lives in Maxey and has Cerebral Palsy, funds are being raised to pay for a much needed operation to give Faith a little more independence and fulfil her wish to walk.
