Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ‘d’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘d’!

Shape of the Week – Our new shape will be an oval. Please can your child bring in an oval item to share with us at Circle time!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have started our Christmas activities and have made decorations and letters to santa. We’ve been very busy making calendars and Christmas cards and yesterday we had lots of fun with a pirate ship.. The Playhouse Christmas postbox is available and Christmas cards are already being posted.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we will continue with the Christmas theme for our activities and sensory! We will also make some christmas playdough.

The Christmas Fayre – Saturday 10th December: Thank you for your kind donations… We are still collecting for the Tombola and the Christmas Hamper, if you can help with any donations. On the day we would love any cake donations! Thank you in anticipation of your help!

Church Service at St Botolph’s – Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to hold the Playhouse Christmas service at St Botolph’s Church on Thursday 15th December.

Christmas Jumpers – We are holding a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 16th December 2016! We would love lots of homemade Christmas jumpers so no need to buy one and we can see all these great creations at our Carol Service! Please feel free to join in!

Booktrust – Please take a look at the Booktrust.org.uk , there are some great ideas and recommendations to inspire your children to have a love of reading.

Christmas Bags / Cards – some of your Christmas bags and cards have arrived and we will be distributing them from today.
