Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ‘m’. Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘m’!

Shape of the Week – Our new shape will be a semi-circle. Please can your child bring in a semi-circular item to share with us at Circle time!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been Nature week and we’ve had lots of outdoor activities! We’ve done some fantastic leaf printing. We’ve been outside and had a look at melting ice. We’ve done lots of junk modelling and we’ve started to decorate the Christmas cakes we’ve made.

Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we are going to start our Christmas activities. We are going to make calendars and Christmas cards. The Playhouse Christmas box will be available. If you need a list of children in attendance for cards etc., there is a list on the door.

The Christmas Fayre – Saturday 10th December: We are now collecting for the Tombola and the Christmas Hamper, if you can help with any donations. On the day we would love any cake donations! Thank you in anticipation of your help!

Stamps – We would like to recycle used stamps to help raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Please can you collect any used stamps, all you need to do is: Cut out the stamp, if possible leaving a border of approx. 1cm and bring it into the Playhouse.

Church Service at St Botolph’sWe are holding our Playhouse Christmas service at St Botolph’s Church at 2.00pm on Thursday 15th December. We would love to see you, your family and friends for this lovely service!

Christmas Jumpers – We are holding a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 16th December 2016! We would love lots of homemade Christmas jumper so no need to buy one and we can see all these great creations at our Carol Service! Please feel free to join in!

Technical issues – Sometimes we experience technical issues and cannot always issue the Weekly Update via email however, we will always publish this on our Website: helpstonplayhouse.org.uk

Circle Time – When coming into the Playhouse in the morning, if you are running late please be considerate to the children taking part in Circle time. Thank you.

Charity Hair Cut – One of the John Clare pupils, Caitlin Walls is cutting her hair on Sunday for the Little Princess Trust. The trust makes real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss. Please let us know if you would like to sponsor her, a letter from Caitlin is attached.
