Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ‘i’. Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘i’!
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is black. Please can your child bring in a black item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This Week – We’ve looked at the story of the Goldilocks and The Three Bears! We’ve been cooking hedgehogs, not real ones and have been looking at texture and colour changing. We’ve also started some of our Christmas fundraising preparations, please see below.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – We will take a look at the story of the Three Little Pigs and we’ll be sharing this with your children. We’ll also celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights and we’ll undertake activities along this theme.
Thank you – Thank you for your very kind donations for the Soup Kitchen, John has passed on his thanks to all of you who donated tins.
Christmas Fundraising – Your children have been busy this week preparing their personalised pictures for Christmas. The individual designs will be sent off to Class Fundraising and a proof will be returned. You will receive the proof for approval & then your child’s personalised image can be printed on your Christmas cards, tags, tea towels or mugs. These are a great gift idea & a great way to raise funds for the Playhouse!
Cooler weather – Please can you bring in warmer clothes for your child so that they continue to enjoy their time outdoors.
