Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ’p’. Please can your child bring in an item which has an ’p’!
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is blue! Please can your child bring in a blue item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This Week – With our visit to Fineshade woods coming up we’ve started to look at the ‘Stick Man’ story and some of your children have been playing with our very own stickman. We’ve been busy making our own musical instruments. On Tuesday our Rising Fives attended John Clare School, they visited Mrs Bacon and the Buttercross classroom for an informal visit. Mrs Bacon read them a story.
Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week we’ll continue with our Stick Man theme! Our Rising Fives attending John Clare will meet their Buddies, our soon to be Year 6 Buddies are very excited to be meeting your children! We’ll also talk about transitions and we’ll be making space rockets!
Sweetie Raffle / Tombola– The jars for the Sweetie Raffle for the John Clare School Fete School Fete have been sent home, please can you fill the jar with wrapped sweets and return to the Playhouse.
Trip to Fineshade Woods – Please can you return your Reply slips by Wednesday 6th July. Thank you.
Committee News – Wednesday 6th July – Playhouse AGM, this is being held at The Golden Pheasant at Etton at 7.30pm.
