Letter, Sound & Colour of the Week –There is no letter, sound or colour of the week next week as it is our last week of term.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we’ve all had great fun on our trip to Fineshade’s Wood. We all went for a trek through the woods and really enjoyed finding our way around the Stick Man Trail. We also set up a Travel agents and we’ve taken part in lots of rhyming games!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week is the last week of term so we’re going to have lots of fun and will be lead by the children to see what they would like to do. We are having our End of Term Party on Friday from 12.00pm – 2.15pm. The team will be handing out Party invites and will also give details of a party food item, which we hope you can donate. If your child is not normally in Preschool on a Friday and you would like them to attend, please discuss with a member of the Preschool team, as they will need to be booked in for the afternoon Preschool session. There are no hot lunches on Friday.
A few reminders –
1. The Playhouse session in the afternoon finishes at 3.15pm, please ensure you collect your child promptly at this time. Thank you.
2. Please ensure all Library books are returned at the beginning of next week.
3. Blue Books are to be placed in the tray every morning. If you are unsure, please speak to a member of the Playhouse team.
4. Wellies and slippers need to be taken home at the end of the Preschool session on Friday as we will be having a deep clean over the Summer holidays.
5. We have a number of items in our Lost Property; a grey hoodie and a light blue cardigan!
Fire Alarm – If the Fire alarm sounds whilst you are on the Playhouse premises, please follow instructions as advised by the Playhouse staff and go to the Fire Assembly point. Thank you to those parents who participated in this morning’s unexpected test.
Thank you – A big ‘Thank you’ to St Botolph’s Church who very kindly donated some of the proceeds from the Helpston Gala to the Playhouse. Also a ‘Thank you’ for the donations of sweets for the John Clare School fete and finally, ‘Thank you’ for the Sainsbury’s vouchers, we have placed our order!
Playhouse Uniform – A reminder that we still have items of uniform available to try on and purchase.
Rising Fives – Please ensure all Transition Reports have been completed, signed and returned to us.
