Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ‘g’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ’g’.

Colour of the Week – Our next colour is brown! Please can your child bring in a brown item to share with us at Circle time!

Playhouse Activities This Week – We’ve done lots of Easter activities this week and we’ve made Easter Chicks and had an egg hunt. We’ve looked at the importance of exercise and how it helps our body! On Tuesday we had our Easter Service at St Botolphs!

Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next term we’ll be making a bug hotel and we will take the children bug hunting so that they can identify the different bugs it the garden! If you have any elder twigs, old bamboo canes and corks, please bring them in for this activity! We will also continue with our Spring activities.

Save the date – 12th July 2016, we will be taking the children on a Preschool trip to Fineshades Wood to complete the Stick Man Trail. Further information will follow after half term.

Bags2School – Just a reminder that if you are having a Spring Clean, please fill the Bags2School bag and return it to John Clare Primary.

A big Thank youto all of you who made cakes and attended the Easter Fayre. We will shortly confirm how much you all raised! Thank you.

Have a lovely Easter Break and we open on Tuesday 12th April 2016!

Kind regards

The Playhouse Team
