Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have been busy planting pumpkin seeds. We have been experimenting with musical instruments. Our theme this week has been caterpillars: we have created our own caterpillars and we have used our Very Hungry Caterpillar story sack. We have also had lots of fun creating obstacle courses.
Forest School – In Forest school this week we read I am a Bee and learnt how important bees are. We made flower cakes, we looked at honey and we also made our own sugar syrup.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week our theme will be bees and honey.
Monthly Makaton Sign – April’s Makaton sign which we are going to learn is ‘more’. Please have a go at home, remember to sign and say the word together. Go slow and show.
Sunscreen & Hats – With the weather staring to warm up please can you bring in a sun hat for your child. On warm sunny days please can you apply sunscreen/lotion before your child comes into the Playhouse in the morning. We will re-apply it at midday before we venture outside. Thank you.
