Dear Parents / Carers
Welcome back and it’s lovely to see you all. Thank you so much for everyone following all the procedures we do really appreciate it.
A personal note from Lucy: We have had to change the way we do things at the Playhouse to ensure that we are keeping the children safe. It’s amazing how adaptable children can be and have happily taken on the new procedures. If you could please remind your child to wash their hands after sneezing etc we would be extremely grateful. We have adopted and embedded the governments new guidelines regarding all aspects of Playhouse life … we all need to work together and follow the guidelines. Thank you.
I personally want to say a massive Thank you to all staff for working so hard on implementing the changes and caring for the children at the same time.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have crushed peas, picked our broad beans and tomatoes. There has been lots of painting; We’ve been using play dough mixed with herbs, it smelled amazing. There has been lots of singing and ring games.
Communication Book – If you could please bring in your child’s folder and communication book every day that would be very much appreciated.
Items from home – With the current pandemic we have to reduce the number of belongings that are coming from home. For the time being your child will be unable to bring something in letter of the week. We will be doing lots of things within the playhouse.
Clothing – We have having to keep the windows and doors open to ensure that there is plenty of ventilation in the Playhouse. Please could you make sure that you child has a fleece or jumper. Thank you.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week we will be sewing, shape hunting and updating a bug hotel.
Drop off at the Playhouse – If you have a child at school your drop of is 9:00am at the Playhouse. If you don’t have a child at school, please can you drop your child off at 9:10am. For our current Reception children and their parents, please can you stand near the left; Amanda or Yvonne will come to the gate to collect your child. We are working very hard to ensure that the children remain in bubbles to reduce contact between the groups of children. Thank you very much.
